Overview

Accountants are vital to the running of all businesses. They analyse and provide trustworthy information about financial records. This could involve them in financial reporting, taxation, auditing, forensic accounting, corporate finance, business recovery and insolvency, or accounting systems and processes.

Depending on what area of accountancy you choose to specialize in, typical tasks could include:

Continuous management of financial systems and budgets.
Undertaking financial audits: an independent check of a company’s financial position.
Liaising with clients to provide financial information and advice.

Full-time: 2 year
Part-time: 3 years

Requirements

The requirements relevant to enroll for this programme.

Admission into National Diploma (ND) programmes must pass through the Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organized by JAMB. The cut off mark for the institution must have been made.
Candidates must have at least five credits in relevant SSCE/GCE 'O' level subjects.
Credits in Mathematics, English Language and any other three subjects from Economics, Biology, Government, Commerce, Agricultural Science, Business Studies, or Geography.
Please note that all Higher National Diploma (HND) applicants must possess all the listed O' Level requirements, alongside SIWES Completion Letter and National Diploma Result.
